Jacob

Hospital Mascot

Our beloved Jacob came to Broad River Animal Hospital in August, 2018. He'd been involved in an accident getting hit by a truck. The doctors had high hopes of him being able to rehabilitate his injuries but after weeks/months of intense treatment and rehab he remained without the use of his back legs. At this point he was so loved by the ladies at the hospital they decided to adopt him and make him a permanent part of the staff! Jacob lives with one of our senior technicians, Kelly.

Jacob has a special wheelchair that allows him to be mobile. One of his very favorite things to do is to go hiking and swim in creeks! You can find him cruising around the hospital at lunchtime greeting everyone that visits. Especially children! He loooves children! Jacob does his best to make sure everything is running smoothly at the hospital. He is quick to give moral support to his ladies when they have hard days.

Jacob is our biggest cheerleader when it comes to our annual food and supply drive. He loves helping others in need.
